A really great idea! In this blog we tell you why. During our first trip with kids, we flew to Dubai. Lizzy was just over 5 months old and I was about to go back to work. It was the end of January and the weather in Dubai was wonderful: 25 degrees and sunshine. A lovely prospect! Once we were all packed and sitting at Schiphol, I did feel a bit nervous. You can take your stroller all the way to the gate, just like with most airlines, and board the plane first. Lizzy was immediately showered with small cuddly toys and some fun things to play with during the flight. One of the flight attendants even captured our first flight with a child with a fun polaroid photo.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We had a seat with a baby bassinet, which was perfect! Lizzy was able to sleep comfortably in it. According to Emirates&#8217; website, the bassinet is suitable for children up to 2 years old. It\u2019s later in Dubai, which meant that Lizzy\u2019s bedtime there was suddenly 10:00 PM instead of 7:00 PM. We took full advantage of this. We kept Lizzy on her Dutch schedule, allowing her to sleep in until 9:00 AM and then go to bed later. At the local markets and colorful souks, you&#8217;ll find everything from aromatic spices and exotic fruits to traditional dishes that are simply different from home. While you&#8217;re here, be sure to try the local cuisine. Think flavorful mezze, juicy kebabs, and sweet treats like baklava.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dubai is also packed with international restaurants. From pizza to sushi, pasta, and burgers, you can find it all. Even the pickiest eaters will find something they enjoy here.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Child-friendly restaurants<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Many restaurants in Dubai are very child-friendly. They have special menus for little ones, play areas, and sometimes even entertainment, allowing parents to enjoy their meals while the kids are entertained. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You don\u2019t always have to go to fancy restaurants because Dubai also has great street stalls and markets. There, you can find the tastiest juices, delicious falafel, or crispy churros.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The restaurant that left the biggest impression on us was <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/arabianteahouse.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">the Arabian Tea House Restaurant &amp; Cafe &#8211; Al Fahidi<\/a><\/strong>, where we enjoyed delicious tea and Arab sweets. Laws are strictly enforced, contributing to a sense of security for residents and visitors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dubai is a place where streets and public spaces are generally safe to explore, even in the evening. We never felt unsafe in Dubai, not even late at night in the dark alleys. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover, Dubai places great emphasis on ensuring safety in tourist areas and attractions. Whether it&#8217;s theme parks, shopping malls, or beaches, safety measures are in place to ensure that visitors have a worry-free experience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dubai&#8217;s extensive public transportation system, including the metro and taxis, is known for its safety and efficiency.
