The following places should definitely be on your bucket list when traveling to Sicily with kids.  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Etna-volcano<\/h3>\n\n<p>Mount Etna is the largest active volcano in Europe and one of Sicily&#8217;s main attractions. You can climb the volcano or take a ride on the cable car for a fantastic view of the surroundings. Here are some practical tips for visiting Mount Etna with children:  <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The best time to visit Mount Etna is in spring or autumn, when the weather is pleasant and the temperature is neither too hot nor too cold. In winter, it can be very cold on Etna, and some areas may be closed due to snowfall. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose a suitable route: There are several routes on Mount Etna, each with its own level of difficulty. Choose a route that matches the age and stamina of your children. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wear appropriate clothing: Make sure you and your children wear warm clothes, even in summer, as it can get very cold on Mount Etna. The site has a rich history and features some of the best-preserved Greek temples in the world, including the Temple of Concordia (our favorite!), the Temple of Hera, and the Temple of Zeus.  <\/p>\n\n<p>If you visit the Valle dei Templi with children, here are a few practical tips that can help you make the most of your visit:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Especially in the summer months, it can get very hot here. It\u2019s best to go early in the morning or, even better, towards the end of the day. The sunset here is beautiful!   <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can park at Parcheggio Porta V Valle dei Templi. From there, a shuttle bus takes you up. Afterwards, you walk about 2 kilometers downhill back to the parking lot. Visit the village in the late afternoon and stroll through the lovely streets during sunset. Afterward, enjoy a delicious pizza in one of the many restaurants. Note: just like in many other parts of Italy, people eat late here.
