With no less than 16,000 square meters of play fun, the new children’s amusement park Beverland is a dream come true for kids. Step inside the gigantic indoor playground, where children will find all sorts of exciting play equipment and slides. But that’s not all! Outside, fantastic play structures await, along with a spacious terrace to enjoy the fresh air while the little ones have fun.
For the youngest children, there is a separate toddler zone.
Beverland offers more than just classic play equipment. There are six mechanical attractions, including bumper cars, a carousel, the butterfly, and the sweeper.
A bonus for parents: you can enjoy better food here than what you typically find in other amusement parks and playgrounds. You won’t just find soggy toast and cold fries; instead, there are delicious freshly made sandwiches and a delightful breakfast buffet!

The Market of Maaseik is the vibrant heart of the city, surrounded by beautiful historic buildings. The town hall is the gem of the square. The Market is lined with cozy terraces and local shops, making it a charming place to enjoy the ambiance of Maaseik.
Explore the center of Maaseik in a fun and interactive way with the kids. The challenge? Match the objects from the treasure chest to the statues you encounter along the way. Once the task is completed, each child will receive a small surprise as a reward.

The Regional Archaeological Museum offers not only a fascinating glimpse into the past but also an interactive experience for both children and adults. Under the supervision of an adult, children can actively participate in various activities. From shaping clay to experiencing skating on animal bones or even trying on chainmail, the museum features a total of 17 different hands-on activities that bring history to life in a playful way.

The Bosstraat is the shopping street of Maaseik and is known for its variety of stores. From boutiques to toy shops, there’s something for everyone.
Some great shopping spots for families include Maluma shoe store, Nathalie Today, Drømstore (Bospoort), Anthos Flowers, Prinsenhof, L’Adimee, and Tea Station.
Are you in Maaseik during the winter season? Then a visit to the ice rink at the Market is a must!
You can skate on real ice at the covered ice rink, which spans an impressive 525 m². Skates are available for rent, and for the little ones, there are skating aids in the shape of penguins and polar bears.
After skating, you can warm up in the accompanying winter bar of Gastrimon.

Castle Wurfeld is located two kilometers outside the city center, but with rented bikes, you can easily reach the center. At this unique location, you can stay in stylish rooms.

Maaseik offers various parking options; here are some choices for parking in Maaseik.
At P4 De Sportlaan, you can park for free. From here, it’s a 10-minute walk to the center of Maaseik.
In the center, at the Market, you can park for a maximum of 2 hours at €2.40 per hour.
Maaseik has several public parking garages spread throughout the city, such as P1 Bospoort and P3 Kloosterbempden. You can park here for the first two hours for free, and afterward, it costs only €1 per hour, with a maximum daily rate of €10.

You need at least two days to explore Maaseik. If you plan to visit many attractions like the Pharmacy Museum as well as Beverland, we recommend a stay of at least 2 nights. This allows you to discover the city at your leisure and fully enjoy all the sites without having to rush.
