Belgium is never far away, making it an ideal destination for a weekend getaway. However, you could easily spend a few weeks enjoying this wonderful country! Belgium is slightly smaller in size than the Netherlands and has a population of nearly 12 million.
Belgium, like the Netherlands, has a temperate maritime climate. This means the country experiences relatively mild winters and summers, with rainfall throughout the year. The best time to visit Belgium is from May to September.
