Morocco

The land of souks, camels, and the desert

Morocco, a country that feels so far away, but you can reach it in just 4 hours by plane! The country is about 11 times the size of the Netherlands and has over 37 million inhabitants. Morocco is located in the northwest of Africa, but at times you might feel more like you’re in the Middle East.

The country has a subtropical climate. This means that the seasons are relatively similar to those in the Netherlands and Belgium. However, Morocco experiences more extreme temperatures. In summer, it can easily reach 40 degrees Celsius. Therefore, the best time to visit Morocco is outside the summer months. April, May, October, and November are the best months to visit the country, making it a top destination for the May or autumn holiday!
