Oman

The land of wadis, goat markets and friendly people

Oman is known for its friendly inhabitants and stunning wadi’s. The country is about seven times the size of the Netherlands and has only five million residents, making it a sparsely populated country. It is a destination that has yet to be discovered by mass tourism, but we anticipate that this won’t last much longer. This country offers everything for a successful adventurous holiday with the family!

Oman is located in the southeast of the Arabian Peninsula, neighboring the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Yemen. From the Netherlands, you can fly there in about nine hours. Oman has a hot desert climate, which means it is warm and dry throughout the year. Especially in summer, temperatures can soar, reaching between 40 and 50 degrees Celsius. Therefore, the best time to visit Oman is from October to April, making it a fantastic destination for the Christmas holiday!
